Naya khang is the nearest 5863m. a peak from Kathmandu valley. Sherpa Mountaineering School offers Naya Khang 5840m. climbing clinic with basic idea and course on mountaineering. The destination is short and easily accessible compared to any other regions from Kathamdnu. The climbing clinic offers high altitude training on mountain climbing and basic course on handling the climbing equipments inclusive of introduction to high altitude adaptation, glacier travel, rope up system, fixed-line ascent/decent, ladder cross, crevasse rescue, self arrest maneovours, ice climbing,  safety and security.

Naya Khanga, also known as Ganja La Chuli (5844m/19173ft) is situated at the north of Helambu region and south  of Langtang valley and stands in Jugal Himal range with massive moraines and beautiful panoramic view of  mountainss which is also one of the most popular destinations for trekkers. The trail offers dense rhododendron forests, a diverse range of stunning green valleys, breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and the incredible Hindu (lowland) and Tibetan Buddhist cultures.  The entire trail of Helambu trek leads to the dazzling glimpse of Himalaya and local culture with villages inhabited by Tamang and Hyolmo/Yolmo people where trekkers can observe their culture similar to Sherpa people of  Khumbu region. People living in this region are generally farmers.

The Naya Khanga climbing clinic adventure begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Tarkeghyang. Next day start trekking to  Amayangri peak 37100 m. back to Chomothanka kharka . We have a rest and acclimatization day at Keldang kharka.  From here continue trek to Naya Khang peak base camp at 4,400 m / 14,435 ft.  We commence our training session here before the attempt to the summit. After a successful summit,  retrace via the same route to Chomolhary kharka and to Sermathang via; an alternate route to drive back to Kathmandu.

Introduction:

Pachemro peak climbing combines a wide variety of mountain scenery and trekking to the remote corner of Rolwaling region allowing being at 6,273m / 20,581 ft. Pachemro peak climbing is an extremely popular peak in the Rolwaling valley and perfect for the adventurer who is able to explore some of the world’s most remote mountains at heights of more than 6,000 meters  /19,685 ft. Lying in the isolated part in the mid of Rolwaling and Khumbu region, the Pachemro peak can be approached by both routes, either from the Rolwaling region of the Khumbu region. This peak is growing popular in the Rolwaling area. Unlike other 7,000er mountains, there are no technical difficulties in this peak climbing, but crossing Tashi Lapcha pass via icy trail is challenging. In Namche Bazaar, we trek to Thame village. This region is the region with fewer tea houses. So we might have to spend some of our nights in a tented camp on the way to Pachemro.  We trek up to the vicinity of Tashi Lapcha pass. We use the North East Ridge to climb the summit. After a successful attempt at the summit, we retrace via the same path of Thame, Phakding and finally to Lukla from where we return to Kathmandu.

From the Khumbu region of northeast Nepal, it lies 20 k.m. west from the Everest between the border of Nepal and China and perhaps, this expedition is the best preparation for Mt. Everest Expeditions. Mt. Cho Oyu is popular among climbers because of its high altitude and accessible route. This expedition is technically easier than any other 8,000 meters mountains in Himalaya from Tibet side.

Mt. Cho Oyu in Tibetan means “Turquoise Goddess” In 1952 when Cho Oyu was first attempted by an expedition group of the Joint Himalayan Committee of Great Britain as a preparation for Mount Everest Expeditions with Eric Shipton as a team leader. But the attempt was unsuccessful the team faced unfavorable weather with avalanche danger at an ice cliff above 6,650 m /21,820 ft. Later on October 19, 1954, Cho Oyu was first climbed by Herbert Tichy, Joseph Jöchler and Sherpa Pasang Dawa Lama of Austrian expedition via the north-west ridge. Since then, many climbers have successfully conquered summit Mt.Cho Oyu and has become the landmark preparation for the climb of Everest.

Everest and other chain of mountains.

We have excellent relations with all Helicopter companies in Nepal for prompt and efficient services and at beck and call.

Besides pleasure and joy ride for mountain views, we arrange for cargo lift in major expeditions and as well for immediate emergency rescue evacuation also.

Kathmandu Valley Panorama (30 mins to an hour ride):

An interesting way to view the Kathmandu city and its valley from high 4000 to 5000 meters above with rolling green hills that surrounds the valley along with a great chain of central and eastern Himalayan Mountains from Manaslu, Ganesh, Langtang to Jugal Himal and as far to Gaurishankar and Mt. Everest in the eastern horizon.

Langtang / Ganesh Himal Panorama (Duration 1-2 hrs):
Just 32 k.m. aeronautical distance from North of Kathmandu valley with an area of 1,710 sq.Km. Situated in the Central Himalaya, Langtang is the nearest park from Kathmandu. The area extends from north of Kathmandu to the Nepal – China (Tibet) border. Flying into Langtang National Park encloses the catchments of two major river systems one draining west into the Trisuli River and the other east to the Sun Kosi river.

Magnificent Langtang Valley Heli flight offers magnificent grandeur views of Annapurna I (8,091m / 26,545ft) Annapurna South (7,219m-23,693ft), 08th highest Mt. Manaslu at 8,163 m, Ganesh Himal (7,405 m) Langtang Lirung (7,234 m)  Ghengu Liru(Langtang II 6571m / 21,560ft), Kimshun (6,745m/22,137ft) and Shalbachum(6,918m / 22,699ft) to the south, the Chimsedang Lekh forms a ridge of peaks which includes Naya-Kanga (5,846m) and Gangchempo, Tilman’s beautiful Fluted Peak. Beyond it extends to the Jugal Himal, terminating in Dorje Lakpa (6,980m/22,929ft). To the east the upper meadows of the Langtang end in a massive mountain wall, forming the frontier with the world’s last 14th highest Mt. Shishapangma (8,013 m / 26,289 ft) in Tibet.

Magnificent Langtang Valley Heli Flight starts and concludes from Kathmandu covering Syabrubesi, Dhunche, headquarter and the main town of Rasuwa district and Langtang area of Kyanjin 3,749 meters.

Annapurna Region (From Pokhara duration 1-2 hours)

While in picturesque Pokhara with its scenic lake where the mountain reflects in its pristine Phewa Lake, we organize an hour or more Heli tour to Annapurna Base Camp with overwhelming panorama views of Annapurna I (8,091m / 26,545ft) Annapurna South (7,219m-23,693ft), Gangapurna (7,455m-24,457ft) and Annapurna III (7,555m-24,787ft). A short stop at Annapurna base camp 4,095 m for refreshment with mountain views and then fly back to Pokhara after an amazing panoramic flight.

Beside scenic and leisure flights we organize rescue operations by Helicopter for emergency purposes and immediate evacuation also, where all victims and trekkers and climbers must have medical / travel insurance for Helicopter evacuations.

Helicopters that we operate:
There are two types of helicopters currently operating in the private sector: AS 350 B series of helicopters which are manufactured by Euro copter, France and are very popular all over the world. It is regarded as one of the most versatile helicopters and is suitable for mountain flying and all types of helicopter missions.

MI-17’s can reach altitudes well in excess of 5.000 m and have been known to land at Everest Base Camp. They offer excellent utility and reliability under extreme conditions. These helicopters are usually charter for bigger groups or large cargo.
