Our support to Nepal
Tourism has a direct relation towards the visited place where tourism helps in providing revenue towards local community which leads in a positive direction of eliminating poverty for the visited area.
In Nepal as a country viewed for its adventurous landscape generates a good flow of tourist for adventure. Along with Nepal Tourism we at has created an image in context with poverty alleviation and trying to help rural areas to directly earn income through local products like handicraft, home stay accommodation and more sales of local products to tourist reducing in poverty. Tourism has been one of the drives in generating revenue in Nepal and helps the economy. Number of tourist visiting Nepal and creating a source of foreign exchange helps the economy of the country. The S earning 20-30 % directly goes in the charity to fund the helpless villagers or school and needy children’s.
- Improvement of quality through education sanitized drinking water, health care and betterment of transportations.
- Identifying the low or poor section of people and helping them in social and economy.
- Creating good government body to identify and provide people with good service, target and efficiency.
- Employment of the poor in tourism enterprises.
Encourage voluntary giving / support by tourism enterprises and tourists. - Investment in infrastructure stimulated by tourism also benefiting the poor in the locality, directly through support to other sectors.
EARTHQUAKE RELIEF APPEAL
Dear friends,
Trust by now most of the countries have all heard or have seen by T.V or other means regarding the earthquake that shook Nepal mostly mid, mid-West and Eastern Nepal.
The tremor so far has taken more than 10,000 death tolls across the country, many without shelter and foods, Nepal government and many countries are doing their best to reach the worst affected areas.
Regarding this earthquake some of our fields staff of trekking department has lost their friends and family members and houses been badly destructed.
In lower Gorkha Nueakot Sindupalchok Dolakha Ramechap Okhaldunga Solukhumbu Everest area of SoluKhumbu where most of our expert trekking and mountain guides and staff come from, their houses and properties houses has been badly damaged and their family been living in temporary shelters since April 25th 2015.
An appeal to all our good friends and fellow trekkers for relief aid to our expert team and cheerful staff who has made the trek and mountaineering in the Himalaya an enjoyable and memorable, so let’s lend a hand to help and support the victims of this earthquake.
Your small contribution will be a great support and lets all rebuilt Nepal, I Lakpa Sherpa and other staff are leaving for designated area in the mountains where the government and other countries aid has not much reached due to its remoteness and isolated villages, being a mountaineering guide and Instructor I know this area very well, so my knowledge of this area will be helpful in this time of great destruction.
So please give us a hand and support for the villagers and children of remote mid Himalayan areas to bring their smile back.
